I just joined and I wanted to say hello.

My wife and I just bought a new '08 G35X Sport and will be picking it up early this week. I have always wanted an Infiniti and now we have on. We really wanted the M35X and they did give us good deal but they next morning it was sold. Also came to find out the auction blocks, trade-in and resale for some reason is not very kind to this car. Cannot really figure it out. Anyway this G35 is cool and looking forward driving it.

I have a few questions and I am sure all the answers will be found.

Rick

Congratulations!!!! You will definitely enjoy the car. I think resale values for most cars, are currently unkind due to the current economic conditions.

Hello and thank you for the warm welcome.

Nothing like a new car that is for sure! And true new cars do take a hit and this economy does not help. But surprisingly side by side comparison of the same class some did a lot better than others and we could not figure out why. The only thing we could think of is the M35 is taking the hit with leases and fleet/rental car. We owned a Ford Torus years ago and took a BATH on the fleet car that we bought loaded. NEVER AGAIN! But the good news is the G35's do a hell of a lot better than its bigger bother.

Either way we are excited!!!

Did you buy the Xs or just the X... The Xs is the AWD with the sport suspension.

Welcome to NICO and stick around... It can be a fun place to hang.

Do not worry... I will stick around. This forum is saved with the diesel truck and boat p0rn folder.

We have the Xs. I think it is going to be cool to have a sedan with the power and handling of a top of the line sports car. Looking forward to the paddle shifters.

Thanks for also pointing me in the direction of FAQ of the G35 as well.

Don't disapoint us drive it like a maniac and tell us you are getting 13mpg. But do it with smile on your face from the ride. I know that's what I do.

LOL

Enjoy your ride.
