Hello all, Ive been surfing this sit for quite a while now and have yet to post my car. I have 1991 black 240sx 5spd 253K miles and still running strong(knock on wood). I recently did a build up on it, with intentions of road race/time attack with some drifting mixed in. Modifications so far inculde the following.

Wheels/tires - MB Battle 17 x 9.5 +15 front / 17 x 9.5 +15 rear, 235/40/17 frt and 235/40/17 rr. Currently running Direzza Z1 Star Specs! The rear quarters are rolled to accomadate the rear combo I am running, and it worked beautifully, I can go over any bump or drive thru any turn with no problems of rubbing. I also shaved the rear auto antenna, its was so damn ugly and not working so it had to go.

Ichiba 5 lug conversion w/ black open face mackin industries lug nuts on extended studs that came with the H+R trak+ spacers.

Suspension - Stance GR+ coilovers / Isis RUCA's.traction rods, toe rods, tension rods. Car is also coner balanced now.

Brakes- Circuit Sport slotted/drilled rotors w/ EBC Greenstuff pads all around.

Exhaust - Isis Dual N1 w/ Isis test pipe.

Drivetrain - SPEC Stage 3 6 puck clutch, Peak Performance Red Urthane trans mount, Isis Short shifter assembely, ATS & Across/Carbonetic/Deftforce Type R 1.5way Carbon LSD

Etc - Grant formula steering wheel, Isis subframe collars, Ferrari 550 Maranello carbon fiber shift knob

To come - Sparco seats/mounts, roll cage/bracing and fuel cell. A set of RPf1s. the KA is getting pulled, rebuilt and turboed; shooting for 400whp. Willwood superlite kit is going on. The car will also lose some weght. Im building this car as a badass street car, but it will be autocrossed and tracked with hopes of doing some real racing in time to come.

I absoluetly love this car, the handling amazes me everytime I go out. I repainted the car the orginal black that it was with DuPont BC/CC system. Rear tails are also blakcked out. Thats about it for now, I will keep repost when I do more mods. I will post up more pics soon to come. Peace out.

well i can see stretched tire even in that very small and dark picture.

if you arent gonna lower it more, perhaps a thicker tire to assist in your harder driving?

Ya they are strecthced, perfectly for my taste and driving style for now. I believe the 235 in the rear is as far as im gonna go with width, and the tire size has worked out great so far with my driving. I could easily lower it more and tuck tire and put some more camber in it if i wanted. I will evetually go a little lower all around, but for now i can drive basically anywhere around here and not have a prob; I mean yes, i do have to slow down for bumps, and go sideways up most steep hills and i do need to drive the front onto pieces of wood to get a jack underneath. I will get better pics on soon to get you guys a better view of the setup. That pic does no justice.

Bump, two new pics. Also, motor getting pulled, plans are AMS advanced build kit, jgs tool starter turbo kit(dont know what turbo yet), cheap intercooler , JWT engine tune, port and polish and 8:5.1 compression, injectors, fuel rail, and pump all to be replaced, also down the road JWT cams and adj. cam gears and new tune. 5spd getting rebuilt. going to finish replacing all suspension arms, prob ISIS, custom cage , willwood superlite kit. Also front bumper and sidskirts and origin overfenders not sure on size, but I want three piece wheels and atleast a 17x11 in the back. Hoping for something like 450hp.

Have a good holiday everyone.

Peace

New Nissan water pump and belt installed today. I also bought two more mb battle 17x9.5 +15 for the front , im going to run the 215 on it for now, after I roll the front fenders I will run a 235, end result 235/40/17 run all around on the car. Going to add some camber in the front and corner balanced. Motor pull soon to come. pics with the 9.5s also.

Peace

Ride height looks good, LCA's are probably nice and level with an overall good geometry. Clean car.

The ride height is still currently at the level in the last pics, and yes, the car handles extremely well. THanks for the clean comments, because I am a professional detailer/painter/anything that involves cars etc, Its just how it is. The interior is stripped other than the front seats, carpet, door panels, center console and dash. It will soon have a cage in it, sparcos/harnesses and i just got the circuit sports short hub and qr just need a wheel now, prob a suede sparco 300. I live in nepa near allentown, the poconos, east stroudsburg and some others. I drove it all over through out last summer, so You coulda saw me anywhere.

Ya, I have a special way of tinting the tails wich makes them look sick.

Peace dudes.
