They've, in fact, phased the electronic career fields out of the USAF due to everything is just hot/cold swapped these days.

I'm subcontracted under many different companies right now. Lockheed, GD, etc.

I know, I was just messing with you :) . You'll never talk to an EE because they're the behind the scenes guys designing the equipment. No use for you to talk to them unless you were to need some custom piece of hardware, but that pretty much never happens. If you need something it's probably out there...

Also, are you a freelancer or to you work for an "Outsourcing" company that those larger companies turn to?

And I thought GD did their own stuff... Guess they only handle the equipment once it's in place.

No, not a freelancer. My actual company I'd rather not talk about. I like to keep my professional life separate from everything else.

I could never get anyone to go with me all the way to Belgium, so no videos (this was far before I had cam holders in cars).

Depends on which car I was in. In the Corolla, no. The charge up the hill after La Source took a lot out of the car and I wasn't carrying enough speed to need to lift. In the S13, yes.
