First of all i would like to say hello to everyone and to thank you for all of your vast information these past few months. i have owned dsms for quite a while and sadly a few months past i totaled it sadly. :frown: But when a door shuts another opens. The last months of my cars existance i was doing auto x. i went to maproving grounds and was instantly turned on to watching the 240s glide over the pavement with such ease. as well as the thought of being so in control of a car that is detemined as out of control it was quite eye catching. So i have been doing my research and decided i am going to go ahead and pick one up.

i have owned many cars in my day from miatas to k swapped crx's 8 eclipses from the 4g63t family rx7 mx6's so its kinda a try something new ideal and it seems i have found a forum for all of my needs i must say the look of a sileighty is by far the most sexiest car i have ever seen. well mix of cars i have ever seen lol.

One of my big questions is what body style is everyones favorite and y? for research purposes is all for help deciding what exactly i want. and ive been following Omega's thread for a while i must say very inspiring. i know for a fact sr20det is what platform i am going with. thanks again and looking forward to hearing your views!

I'm rather new to 240s myself but I hav a soft spot for the S13 coupes. The S13 Hatches seem easier to find but I love the look of a truly clean Silvia clone. Not really a big fan ogf the S14s but to each his own. Currently I'm driving a Vert but if you are going to get into drifting or autox, I'd say skip the vert, its a little "wet noodle-ish" some times. As for motors, I've got a KA24DET in my garage waiting for me to get the time to finish the coupe shell I have in storage. Welcome to the world of 240s.

BTW pics of the DSM, I had a friend who dragged a first gen Talon awd. Sub 12 sec car.
