Hello everyone. I am new to the forum. Normally I do a lot of research before I buy a car but I found a gorgeous 07 M45 Sport with 77K and I fell in love with this car. What kind of major maintenance do I have coming up. Are there any issues with this model I should be aware of? Any modifications you guys suggest. (I read about swapping the G driveshaft)

I have noticed my cruise control doesn't always work. When I hit cancel the horn beeps.

Congratulations on your purchase. I'd advice you to check your engine oil level often. You can do your changes as early as 3,000 miles if you wish, but check for consumption more frequently.

Good advise from EdBwoy. The M45 is known to consume oil and the car may not alert you until it is dangerously low and sometimes not until after damage is done. I don't recall any other frequent issues on the M45.

The valve cover spark plug holes with fill with oil on the cylinders nearest the firewall, if you live in a colder climate.
