Hey guys so like I said I am new here and I'm ready to be bashed for asking this question but it's kind of a two part-er. Hopefully someone can help!

1. I always wondered if it's okay to park my 240 with the headlights popped up when I know I won't be driving or having the car turned on for a few days. Will it kill my battery or be hard on the headlight motor? The headlights, running lights, and dash lights are all off and in the off position but I left the headlights popped up. The only reason I ask is because it's starting to get really cold here in B.C and I've heard stories of them getting frozen shut.

2. I am experiencing a pretty rough idle sometimes when it's cold. (Sometimes) Here's the weird thing, sometimes it will be rough and other times it will be fine. I just did distributor caps on it, did new vacuum lines, brand new spark plugs, brand new air filter and I cleaned the maf. Still experiencing it once and awhile even after all this. Could it be anything to do with the fuel injectors? The owner who I purchased it off of said that one of the injectors was starting to go bad and would need a new one soon. I ordered a set of four brand new ones. Was this worth it?

Hope to here back from you guys! Thanks a lot and sorry about the noob questions :dblthumb:

1 - go for it. You wont hurt anything. I do it all the time.

2 - could be a bunch of different things really. Have you cleaned the idle air control valve in the recent past? It could be gummed up and sticky. Also, wiring harnesses are getting pretty bad by this point. You should try shaking it gently, especially around the distributor, MAF, and coolant temp sensor areas. See if the idle changes.

Thanks a huge ton, this really helped. Headlights are popped parked and I Cleaned the IACV which worked perfectly, no more rough idle and no more worrying when I come to stops lol. Once again thank you.
