How long has it been since you ordered? No offense to daunt, but if I hand over 3k to someone, I expect very timely service. Has anyone even gotten an engine from him yet? I don't think so. I find it strange that he has a major rep built up around him, when he doesn't have the swap (or any first hand knowledge of it as far as I know, could be wrong though), and doesn't have a single customer (that I know of) with the swap from him, to back up his claims of quality.

You registered last month. Why are you here nosing in on something you dont know? No need for us to dig up a link, use the search button about regular SR20 topics and such. He has kindly answered many of them on this board with much help (before the questions became asked everyday). I however do trust him with buying a motor. The reason being late with the motors is because his first container shipment was all screwed up. This set him back a few months and his second container is becoming his first.

thanks for the backing bro. I'm certainly not new to cars. I work for a performance shop and have been rooted since 99 or so. I have contacts with SS mag, Tein, JIC, Stoptech, etc. I'd just personally like to know what Dauntt's secret is, lol. I can get engines cheaper than him, with pics and compression tests, I just don't push them. I'd like to know Dauntt's secret, maybe I can use it to my benefit. I think he's just a good talker. Like a car salesman that can sell you a car before youve test driven it or even looked under the hood, lol.

X, you do realize this was his explanation to what happened like in Sept/Oct last YEAR. I doubt that excuse is still plausible.

well...i wouldn't bash dauntt too much about the lack of engines...he did offer to refund people their money (which he did do for the people that wanted that)... so the people who are still wating for the engines are there by their own free will...

Yeah, I'd also like to know where my engine is at too. I emailed Dauntt on Thursday, still haven't received a reply. I remember his post (on Apr 09) saying that they'd be ready to go out the door within 10 days. Well, it's been 10 days and still no engine.I've been very patient thus far, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't getting frustrated now...

nothign against dauntt, but it isnt good business to sell engines when you dont have them, from a supplier you havent tested yet. you all know daunt is an honest guy, you dont know his supplier is.

ATS, any specific reason you feel like stirring up trouble AGAIN? He's been registered for a month because he ditched his old name after getting a fight with a lot of the members here.

Swift, you were here back then, Sept/Oct was when I was originally going to open, and then I was laid out for 5-6 weeks with my kidney/liver/gall bladder problems. I didn't take the first deposits until Thanksgiving, and most didn't finish coming through until January. The first container wasn't screwed up until late January/February. I'm still trying to recover from that.

As CA said, I did offer to refund the money and a number of people took me up on that offer, the few who are left I really appreciate and they will be aptly taken care of in the very near future.

They get engines in 10 days, just like you just said. Just what I heard, maybe you could let us all know.

Well I was in on a motor deal with dauntt, but I had to have the motor (actually I needed it by this week) so I had to go with a different company. With my deposit money I got hooked up with a sweet deal on an exhaust, motor mounts, a fuel pump and turbo timer. Dauntt is a great guy, he is just having a bit of a "technical difficulty"

Actually, I didn't say anything before because I didn't approve of what you were doing. As I remember, the last thing you did was get in a fight with another shop, and argue with other shops, and then said you were leaving because you were tired of shops talking **** about shops, and now this? : ) Feel free to undercut away. Where'd you get the Venus Auto thing? I have never ordered from them, and I can safely say I never will. I really don't know how long it takes them, I've never asked. I don't especially want to get into it with you, so I'll drop it. However, I do know that you don't know the details of my business, so I would suggest refraining from making side comments. yep, that's me. Is there a problem? I'm not hiding anything. I use the name StephenB on MANY other forums that I'm sure members on here go to. You all can think I changed forw hatever reason. As far as the **** talking. That wasnt about general crap, it was referring to shops that were SUPPOSED to be partners and help eachother out when needed, and **** like that (ya know, meet up at the track, do a little competitive running, and maybe chill afterwards, etc), and it got to the point where i noticed alot of negative **** flowing back and forth behind peoples backs. I don't like people talking behind peoples backs, Im strait forward and speak my mind. To be honest, that's one thing I like about you and the one reason I don't mind you being honest with me, whether you want to admit it, you do the same thing as me, speak your mind and your strait forward. It would be bad on your character if you acted like a friend and talked crap behind my back on the other hand. I'm sure you expect respect from your "friends" too. Once again, I didn't start any ****, I asked questions, Dauntt threw the first swing. This can be debated depending on different peoples views on whats **** and whats not.

this is getting old, your right. sorry if i inconvenienced you. im ending this now. id like to say i meant no harm by what i said, it was a question. i personally gave props to dauntt for being a good sales person, and just wanted to know his secret. his sales abilities with my hookups would make for bad *** sr20 and rb sales, lol. I'm ending this now and have no intentions on emailing daunt to start any ****. As for I H8 UR DSM (or something like that), I had absolutely no beef with him and actually like his character, whether he wants to accept that or not, lol.
