hello everyone, i havent been in here for quite a while, how are you guys doing, and how are the J30s rolling...... i hope everyone is doing well

my J is good, it's still my daily driver, i love it......... i've had some problems after doing the TT swap, but nothing major.... the engine is still running strong, and the transmission (the second auto transmission) is keeping me going untill now (crossing fingers)......

no new mods, it's still the T28 turbos (although one is sounding very bad and needs to be replaced soon)........since 2007, i've only changed the tie rods and the ball joints and brakes and some fuel hoses and a fuel filter. i'm thinking of replacing the turbos in the june or around then, it's gonna be another engine pull to do the job.

i was racing a Range Rover Sport today, i have to say that his face was priceless to look at.... he didnt know what hit him.... it was fun, untill one of the air pressure clamps let loose (passenger side turbo hose, takes air from the compressor to the intercooler), it took me a good half an hour in the freezing cold to fix the problem (it's -20C up here in montreal)

well guys, just saying hi to everyone, i'll be checking again soon.

How much does it cost to turbo an N/A J? just a rough estimate. And what does it entail?

do you want to turbo your VG30DE (stock J30) engine ??? not recomended, because the engine internals would not take the excessive stresses of the turbos, and the engine would fail shortly after the turbo fitment.

if you are interested to swap the engine (to a VG30DETT), then you are looking at around $6000 while you do the labour, it would be a very nice summer project.....

Oh, okay. Well that's a bummer. haha. Thank you very much. What can I do to my motor? And what would an exhaust do for me? Also, is there any way to make on of these cars manual?

Thanks
