Hello! My new and wrecked Altima...

Hello! I'm new to the forum and a relatively new owner of an Altima.

It's a 2012 Nissan Altima 2.5S Sedan Super Black with Convenience Package, and I've had it since October of 2012.

Here's how it looked when I first bought it:







And here's how it looked after a Hit and Run when some jackass crashed into it around 2 or 3 in the morning on Feb. 28th while it was PARKED on the street:





I'm so freaking pissed that it had to happen to me. I only ever heard of unfortunate stories like this from very unlucky people. And now I'm one of them...

Now the car is in the shop getting repaired and pretty much the whole left side needs to be replaced. Plus the rear wheel on the right side because the car got pushed into the curb and bent the wheel.

Hopefully it will get fixed by the end of March. I plan on doing some cool mods to it in the future (as shown in my sig). I freaking love my Altima.

So I got an update today and they just finished welding the new panels on. They said it will go for painting maybe Monday or Tuesday. I kinda wanna take the opportunity and get them to black out some of the chrome on the car.

Wow looks like they did a real number to it. Rear quarter panel, both doors, was the front fender damaged?? Sorry to hear that. Makes me thankful for my off street parking.

Thanks. But yeah, front fender as well. The whole left side is being replaced. They just finished welding the new panels on this past Thursday, primed and sanded everything on Friday, and it's going for painting tomorrow (Monday). I took advantage of the situation and asked them to black out some of the chrome on the car. It should come out pretty sweet.

They're also replacing all 4 wheels. Not sure about the tires though. They didn't look damaged from the hit, but they might replace them too anyway. They said it should be going for alignment at the end of this week, either Thursday or Friday.

I'm REALLLLLY hoping my car gets done by the end of March. I'm tired of driving a rental. Freaking Fiat 500. What a piece of crap. Good on gas though. LMAO.


EDIT: Oh, yeah, they're also replacing the right rear suspension. As you guys can probably see from the picture, the tire/wheel got pretty badly bent on that side.
