Hello, and help please

Hey, I have been around the forums for a while, mostly a troller, use the site for tech help and so on. Well a couple of weeks ago I purchased a 2011 Nissan Versa 1.8 S 6 spm. Here is what I have been dealing with so far... Well at around 600 miles the car started to just randomly pop out of gear during acceleration, and was a real pain to get back in gear. This happened for about 100 miles, then I was unable to get it to go in to 2nd, 3rd, or 6th completely. At this point I called the dealership and they asked me to "Drive it on down"... So I drove the car about 30 miles, dealing with the in and out of gear issues, and dropped it off with Nissan service. The next day they called me and said that the shift linkage was missing a pin from when it was manufactured. But that is was fine now. I asked if they were sure nothing was messed up from the car being jammed in to gear when I drove it for 30 miles messed up, they said "No it will be fine." So I took them for their word. I picked the car up on a Friday afternoon, drove it to my house about 20 miles away and parked it. The next time I drove it was Sunday, I got on to an Interstate where the speed limit is 75 and the car felt solid. Until... I was accelerating from about 70 mph up to 75. This is when the transmission popped out of 6th gear, and well, scarred the crap out of me. So I looked down to see what happened, and tried to shift back in to 6th gear... Well once this was done I looked up and noticed I had drifted off the road a bit and was headed straight for an emergency roadside telephone pole.. and before I knew it I was at a dead stop, burned arms from an airbag, and REALLY pissed off. P.S. I have had this car for 3 weeks... Any advice would be greatly appreciated on how I should handle this with Nissan.

call the corporate helpline in your owners manual. tell them the whole story. see what they can do for you.

sorry to read about it, but am VERY glad you are OK. Insurance should pick up the car bill to fix or replace, but I bet Nissan will do something for you.
