I just discovered this forum and am here to gain technical knowledge and to acquaint myself with some of you.

I recently bought a '95 300zx twin turbo 5-speed with 109K miles and clean title; the clear coat is gone (paint is toast), no rust on chassis and the car starts and runs fine, however I gotta do a timing belt change soon. This has been my dream car since I first laid eyes on it, which was when it debuted in August of 1989. I was 14 at the time, and it was the summer before I began h.s. So the Z32 twin turbo has made an indelible impression on me. I plan on rehabilitating my 300zx twin turbo up to "little higher performance" than stock specs, like right under 400 horses, but leave the car mostly stock cosmetically. I'm not here to go "crazy" with it by trying to push 500+ horses or turn it into a drift missle or...I hate to say this, "over accessorize it"....I owned a 370Z sport package 6-speed that I bought new in Apr. 2009, but sold it after 3 years. That car was nice, but it just didn't have the same magic as the Z32....
