Nissan Z tubeBlox or Motordyne spacer will pass inspectionNeovalentine wrote:Hi everyone. I just bought my 2005 G35 Coupe Silver Auto 2 days ago. It's probably the best car I've ever owned, extremely happy. Anyways as to not annoy everyone I've been searching the forum for a few days trying to find my answers. Anyways I had a few quick questions and maybe someone can set me in the right path or have a good answer.
1. What mods are CARB legal? I've had it up to here (points over head) with dealing with Cali smog. My old car became such an issue I couldn't pass smog. I'd like to just get some parts, add a few ponies, alittle louder exhaust as the stock sounds great but I'd like alittle more volume. What mods can I get that have that little sticker that makes all those smog guys happy and let me pass? Inakes? Exhaust? Spacers?
2. Where can I get a good OEM spoiler? I saw a few on Ebay but question the quality, does anyone have one?
3. How much was your window tint? What % did you get? Could you post pics if you have a silver car so I can get a rough idea?
Thanks I hope to be around for awhile.

This almost seems pointless since the spacer alone gives the most gains. The Mrev2 won't make a huge improvement (per motordyne).joe603 wrote:Welcome to NICO! 2. MREV2 (lower intake plenum mod)
Go with stiffer engine mounts.tollboothwilley wrote:

+1 on the z-tube. FAIL on removing G-tube baffles. One of them is integrated into the piping .tollboothwilley wrote:Intake - Z-Tube/K&N (or remove baffle from your G-tube)
I can provide the wires, if you're interested.tollboothwilley wrote:if its 5 Speed auto (5AT) then I would get some grounding wires
