Hi NICO. We have a long history but since no one cares and I'm using a new account so whatever. I had an awesome SR20 89 240 several years ago that I slathered pics of all over NICO and other, lesser sites. But then some d!ck took a crowbar to my car, totalling it. I posted pics here, my balls hurt looking at them.

So I bought a Dodge Ram 1500 about a week after it happened to tow the now-shell of my 240. Then suprise, insurance company takes the car, won't give me any money if they don't. Drove the truck for a couple years, got bored of it after about a week. Got an 06 G35 Sedan 6 speed to make up for the lameness and get back to my Nissan roots; it's just not the same though. There is something about the 240 that keeps bringing me back. Like heroin. Or crack... because crack is awesome.

So I bought a 240 today. Another 89 and it's stock as hell, it's so horrible, I'll be posting a thread shortly of parts I need IMMEDIATELY. Stock SUCKS!!!

Anyway, I hope you like my blog post, I'm F**KIN glad to be back, I need my fix. I'll try to contribute, promise. Hi to Greggy-poo, Anand and Keith and a whole bunch of other friends I haven't talked to in forever.

When my last car was stolen, the insurance wanted the car (or should I say shell) in order to pay me out for it. I think a lot of them try to part out as much as they can to recoup their costs from the settlement.

Yeah you got it. It's either this boring but fast G that costs a ton or this falling apart 240 that I can make awesome for dirt cheap. Plus my student loans are weighing more and more heavily, so I decided to go back and do the cheap project car thing again. I probably overpaid slightly for the car, but it only has 114k original miles on it and everything works. I'm going to make it run as a DD for now and see how things play out.

Insurance had to take the first car even though my agent told me originally that they wouldn't. I had only a couple of days to get all my parts off, but I got most.
