Welcome to NICO. I live in winston as well. I don't know the car personally unfortunately. If you wanted some help changing the car back to normal I'd be willing to help. I'm no master mechanic, but I know my way around a toolbox, and I've owned a couple of 240s.

Umm... What with the Miata hate? A well thought out and modified Miata can eat a 240's lunch. It takes the main weapon the 240 has has uses it better: Lightweight.

Here are some bada$$ Miata's for you...http://speedhunters.com/archiv....aspxh ... iv....aspx

That enough for now, I guess. Welcome to NICO.

The 240sx is unibody. The rear fenders arent attached like the front fenders are. The only way to fix that dent is pulling it out and bondo. It'll never feel the same as driving it before the damage, especially if theres frame bending. It was a good price you picked it up for though.

Welcome.

Youll find surprisingly there are a large number of Miata followers on here, I like em, but being 6' I think it may be a little difficult to fit in them lol

Fix the qp before you do anything else and youll be golden, then get it aligned & make sure theres not too many suspension issues. Good luck & welcome again

My first thing i see wrong with the car is those terrible side skirts. they most likely degrade the value of the car. I will help you! tell me how much it will cost to ship to 36695 and i will throw it away for you...

They are not made for tall peoples, I got to do a ride along with one at an SCCA event, My helmet was peeking above the windshield hahaha.

OP, I like the fact that you are a cop and you talk like you're pretty down to earth. You are the second cop i have met that seems pretty cool, the first being my girlfriends dad.

Your introduction was nice as well, i enjoyed reading it. You look like you have a good amount of work cut out for you, but as long as you are patient good things WILL come. Haha what is this from "We have the technology!, We can rebuild him!" hahaha that is what i think of when i see your car.

Welcome to the community, you will find that most of us come in peace. The others not so much, but they are harmless.

Keep us updated!

One Love,

Ghasty
