Helllp needed for sick CA...

I have done research and wrenching for a couple days now... Here is my issue...

She's running very sluggish... ECU code was 34... Knock sensor... Got the wiring checked out and fixed (?) either way, code is gone, it's back to 55...

Still running sluggish, played around with the TPS to where it should be, it's back to close to normal about 18 vac, at times It will idle aroud 10-16 vac, I got no leaks though, already checked for those, surprised I got none...

Now... When it's low idle, I unplug the TPS, it idles at 20-22 vac, idle is a bit high, but all is where it should be except for the power loss...

I haven't checked the timing just yet, but am curious that the timing could have been retarded to the point from the code 34 that it hasn't corrected itself? Is that possible? What are some other issues? My temp gauge doesn't work, but hasn't for a while now and I had no other issues before my code 34...
