i'm about to machine my head and give the block a nice freshen up before i go with a bigger set up.

now when we first got the motor several years ago the spark plug was stripped. so we drilled it out, tapped it and put in a coil. this has worked great for several years.

my question is now that i'm about to go with a much bigger turbo is the coil going to be safe? i se o reason why it wouldn't be......i jsut want to make sure.

It should be safe, but if you want to be really sure, go with one of these:

I have two in my crankshaft, holding my flywheel on, and they haven't failed, and that's a super high stress/vibration area.
