Okay, for some reason my manifold (Stock one) is loose again. Basically last month I tightened every bolt on the mani they way it's suppose to be. Well now I'm missing 2 nuts and somehow one of the studs broke off inside the block. I have no idea why. So I decided I'm just gonna helicoil all 6 threads (even if they are still good) so I'll never have to worry about this again (this is the 3rd time I have had to tighten the bolts in 6 months). It's little things like this that always happen to me and I'm getting pissed. So I called Monroe to get an estimate tomorrow (I really am not going have them do it, I just want an estimate and the guy said he could get me what I needed If I want to do it myself). Anywho....What exactly do I need to do and buy to do this myself. For clarification purposes: I am talking about the 6 bolts that hold the exhaust manifold to the block. Thanks guys!! If this belongs in the TECH section feel free to move it MODS. Motor is an SR though.

Make sure you get new exhaust manifold nuts. If you can find them through the Nissan parts dept., look for "Prevailing-torque" locknuts in the correct size. Not those stupid nylon filled ones, they'll melt immediately. I don't know the size off the top of my head though but it can be found with some searching. I've never had to heli-coil anything before so I can't help you there.
