Helical design in open diff housing?

I just bought a helical LSD out of an S15 and I am wondering if it will fit in my '90 open diff housing. I know this has been discussed before, and there are many topics on it, but it hasnt actually been answered. thanks for all the help!

I read that post, it didnt have info, just more questions....If anyone can help it would be great....I am getting just the internals of the s15 LSD with the half shafts.I have a 1990 with an open dif...

where did u get the shafts?

i bought them together on ebay. The seller tells me it will work in my housing...and he has real good feedback and is well known in parts from japan...
