Heh, oops...Door safety strap...

Okay, well, i was parked on a major sideways grade, and opened my passenger door, well, i didnt grab the door in time and it snapped hard, now the piece where the door safety strap is loose. Anyone ever fixed this or know what might have happened? I'm gonna look in there over the weekend, i think i have to pull the fender off to see that, hopefully i can bolt the piece back on or weld it or something.. The door opens fine, but it makes quite a bit of noise now...i'll get pictures sometime maybe if my camera cooperates..ast
