Car: about to buy altima coupe or g35 coupe

Post

Im interested in buy a 04 g35 coupe rebuilt for 6,000. with 75,000 miles on it. There is also an altima coupe 3.5 manual (been hearing horrid things about that cvt) that is rebuilt for 6,500 with about 90,000 miles.

Im in a bubble about what to buy. They look similar but the G has more prestige. The altima has better mpg. I actually like the cabin of the altima better compared to the dated G35's. But i also want performance and the G just looks that much better. Mpg is big to me though, I drive A LOT, im a realtor. What do you guys think and why?
Do the Altima's require a lot of maintenance, are there any major problems? How do you feel about gas compared to the G?

What do you mean by rebuilt?

The G35 definitely has a better aftermarket support than the Altima Coupe but then again everyone and their mother have one. If you're going for performance, take the shortcut now and get the G.

I wouldn't buy neither then. Once in an accident, the car will never drive the same. Look for a certified 6MT with a clean title.

It really depends on what you want in a car and how you plan to use it.

First - I would discourage buying anything with a rebuilt title if it is to be a daily driver. Want something to tinker with and stuff but don't need to rely on it for daily transportation? Then get the G.

I've owned both cars, but my altima is a 2010 2.5 and my g35 coupe was a 2005 (refreshed interior) IMO the g was hands down a better car in every way except at the pumps.

Just my $0.02...
If you are a realtor driving clients to showings, you need 4 doors.
