Did you take the sensors off the old rims and put them on the new ones when you got the rims on? Was the work done by a tire shop? If the answer is yes, they should have reset it there, and you can force them to do it for free because it's their responsibility.

As for the air bag light... you may have brought that on yourself with your decision to switch to racing seats. 1) there is a weight sensor connector under the passenger seat. Disconnecting this MAY cause a failure of the passenger air bag... and 2) both of the front seats have integrated air bags. Removing them for something not OEM is going to screw up your airbag system something fierce.

I'm sorry, but weren't you kind of expecting that to happen when you made the decision to swap the seats?

Half the safety you had is gone. You either want rice or safe. Can't have both swapping out seats in a Versa.

ok so is there anyway to reset it? cus i can put back those sensors under the seats without unplugging them. and im not worried about the safety, thats why i have the 4 point seat belt, my main concern is shutting off the dam lights and passing inspection.

you could always just pull the bulbs for the lights. I had to do that in my 240 because I replaced the steering wheel with one that didn't have an airbag. it's not the best thing to do but it will solve your problem.

More importantly why would you want to put racing seats in a Versa?

What is the benefits of having racing seats versus stock seats? They look cool IMO, I'd prefer black and blue color scheme. Are you going to bring your car into events such as NOPI or Hot Import Nights? What's your goal?

If NY is like NC, then during inspection they'll actually tie into the computer and check the codes. Lights or no lights, the codes have to be clear and not have been reset within a certain amount of time...

unless they change the comfort of the seats, I find it pointless to put racing seats on the V, where its meant to be a econo car, not racing car. I dont get why people cant put the money they spend on these upgrade and get a racing type car instead of the V. It will cost you the same in the long run.

Same thing as a 15 year old, $800, 7 different color car with a $7000 stereo system in it.

Okay... I have to admit that I still think it would be uber neat to have a car where each body piece was a different color...

no really, I just admitted to that...

I would have just had the stock ones redone or waited for the 2007 Sentra Spec V seats to be available http://www.nissanusa.com/se-r/...68%3b.

Look at the 2002 & 2005 Sentra SE-R seats they are really nice as well..

But overall I think it's better to have a "safe car" unless this is not a daily driven one.
