Yeah I have the same problem, I originally needed to fix a swirl control valve control solenoid valve vacuum leak, I found the culprit (which was vacuum rubber hose that was frayed through) but to get to it I had to remove the whole intake manifold, in doing so I surmised if I'm going to take off the intake might as well replace all coolant and vacuum lines in the process so I did that and I've followed all vacuum piping diagrams out there available and once I get everything back together, I start it, it turns over but once I let off gas it dies doesn't even idle. It's apparent it's getting spark and fuel, but the diagrams I've referenced poorly display the origin and insertion of each individual vacuum line. I don't know where to begin but to say I connected a vacuum line wrong. But the only questionable bad connections are the metal piping gallery that come off the evap and purge canisters of which are 4 individual pipes that interconnect to the vacuum gallery of metal piping attached to the intake manifold. On the diagram they label the vacuum gallery on MAP/BARO side abcd but when observed on the vacuum gallery attached to intake manifold it becomes perplexing to see where vacuum piping between both vacuum galleries originate and insert. Please help any help will be graciously appreciated, I'm desperate to get my truck running it's been down for almost 6 months, how embarrassing! Please help. Thank you and Godbless.
