sorry these questions must be stupid but i need help bad b/c i'm confused. i did a hid conversion on my 2k1 maxima and the high beam didnt work and the hi beam indicator was on and the switch was on low. my dad told me that the current is passing through the ni beam wires and thats why it happens and i played around a little with the volt meter and this is what i found out



and my current configuration is this

and my question is is it ok to do this?

so is it ok to do that thanks D

I'm not sure, but Beaner put HID's in his 2k Maxima and should be able to help you out shortly.

I'll look at the FSM just in case

You did get Bi-Xenon bulbs, right?

Here is a writeup that Beaner did for his Maxima but I am not sure if he had Bi-Xenon either. zerothread?id=226202

its a single beam mine is a dual beam but the hi beam is a little halogen attaches to the hit housing think its called a h4 hi/low

Not sure if this helps, but here is the "flow" for low beam and high beam functionality

thanks for all the help i found an article about h4 bulbs on hidplanet if it aint for you never would have found its a ground switch common + and two -
