HeavyDuty...Tail Light Blackout Kit??

Hey Heavy...I really want to get that kit to blackout my tail lights. You mentioned that you know of somebody in Orlando that puts a film on the lens versus using Nite Shades by VHT. Do you have the information to get intouch with the guy? Otherwise I will order the Nite Shades by VHT and do it this way, but I woulld really like to to it the other way.....Please let me know within the next week if you can hook me.

Maybe a worthwhile swap would be a 90-93 rear thing... I may do that here soon.....

Hey fellas,

His name is Ryan, I can get in touch with him in the morning, it's basically translucent vinyl in varying shades of tint.

I think we used the medium on an 03 CL-S, it shaded it nicely, but not enough to attract attention from Occifer Friendly.

I've used the tail light spray stuff before, it's OK in light applications, but *everyone* gets carried away with it when they do it & without a lot of dry time in between, it's a big freakin mess.

I'll have him measure up on my car. Are you guys interested in the whole back end or just the center panel or what?

Also, I *think* we can get a bronzey look as well as a charcoal, depending on preference. The stuff is cheap & removes like a vinyl decal.

I want a slight tint for the whole thing...

How much would it be to get this stuff...???

I think it would look really good darker, with the chrome that the 94 has.....

I want the whole rearend done....and in a nice medium black (officer friendly) like you mentioned for the 03 CL-S

I have a black car so the good old straight black tint will do fine for me.

I WISH the rear of mne looked anywhere near that nice. That's a pic I found once on the Japan yahoo auctions. I kept it so I'd know what I want mine to look like.

Will this vinyl get us close to that?

He's coming by tonight to measure the tails on my 91. It's going to be a little effort with the way they wrap around, but patience & some soapy water & a hair dryer should work well.

I dont want them darkened black like that, but darker..... Maybe if I had black that would look better......

Ryan came by tonight, if there's two cars at a time, it's only $15 per car. The height is so short, one roll, cut lengthways, covers two cars including the trunk panel extension, if desired.

It'll take some time & patience, but it holds up well & if all else fails & you don't like it, just peel it off.

Hmm, I liked what he did with that first gen.

You notice he put the 94+ Infiniti chrome logo on the rear.

The 90-93 just had an outline of the logo, but it didn't stick out like that.

Or maybe the blacked out look gives it the popped out 94+ look.

This is ryan. I'm sorry that I did not call you yesterday. I have two different shades for the taillights, one is light and the other is a dark gray. I can do they for $15.00 plus $5.00 shipping in the lower 48 states. I can post pics of some of the previous cars that I have done including my old civic. How do i post pictures on this forum.

This is a picture of the dark vinyl. I have not done any vehicles in the light gray.
