heavy vibration

When im in 3rd gear, obviously im aware the car revvs more, but wen i hit around 40 or so, if im not on the throttle heavy the car virbrates very bad. is this normal ? or is something wrong with my transmission.?

Is it a low toned, can you feel it or hear it more...

~45 mph in 3 and ~70 mph in D indicates your rear motor (transmission) mount is way gone if it is as severe as you describe.

It is destroying the output shaft and the u joints as you continue to drive.
