i ordered a intercooler from heavy throttle and they sent me two. that day i called and told them about it. at first they were cool about it but now they are harrasing me about shipping it back. i told them i would shipp it back as soon as i got my car finished and could get to the shipping company. i am now getting 2 calls a dayfrom them and jeff the owner is threating me that he will come to my house and pick it up but he says if he has to do that there will be problems. i am angry about the way he is treating me on the phone and his threats. up till now they have been a good company but if this is the way they react to there own screw up i will no longer be doing buisness with them.

Well i'm glad i won't be dealing with that problem, my dad owns a manufacturing company that makes radiators and intercoolers. We do everything, when i find a place to do my sr swap for me i will be of course using one.

I'm sorry about the way they are treating you, hopefully he realizes its his fault. by the way how much did you pay for it?

give it to a friend to hold and tell him u made a mistake and u only got one he can't do jack **** about any of this it is their fault and if u choose to keep it on their error it shoudlnt be a problem. That is where being in the caribbean benefits. I get sent double of certain things and when i do feel good and go about telling them they have to pay for shipping cause there is no way i am paying 30+US to send anything back for anyone on there error.

i cant do that because i am honest and was always planing to send it back but since it was their fu*k up i am not rushing to get it back to them and saving all my ride favors for when i really need them

a lot of people are heavy throttle customers here that experience little to no problem

before we start to ****ing on heavy throttle... 1) let' not forget all the good experiece we had with them (99 good and 1 bad transaction sounds reasonable, right?) 2) if as a company, losing 600$+ on the sppot is pretty painful no matter which perspective you take it. It woudl be great if something like this happens and the customer sends it back but in your case, it's been 2 weeks. 3) The error is most likely done by an employee there, could that person, perhaps jeff, is threatend to have the cost of intercooler taken out from his pay check? 4) We haven't heard heavy throttle side of the story, we just can't take your words for it so swiftly.

I don't know how accurate your story is but I know heavy throttle has either ups or fedex account. I know, as a home business owner, that call tag only cost about 20$ with either company. So long that you agree to return the product, they could have it called taged 2 weeks ago. In any case, I forward this thread to Jeff and I wonder what will happen.

Yeah if they found their mistake I don't know why there wasn't a UPS or Fedex dude knocking on your door weeks ago.

All they have to do is issue a pick-up. Call and tell them to do that.

It has been 6 weeks since those items arrived and I have the UPS reciepts to prove it.

No one is harrassing him, he got one call yesterday from an employee, then when he was not cooperating I called him. Then he hung up on me in mid sentance, so I called him back. Before that I think we called 2-4 times over the 6 weeks he has had the items.

I thanked him for his honesty when he called to report 2 FMIC's had arrived, the next weeks shipping record showed that a changed order had accidentally gone out.

We were very polite, patient and nice on the phone the past 2 or 3 times we called to remind him, until yesterday when he refused to ship the items out and said "I will ship it back when my car is done" and then hung up on me.

We already sent UPS return labels weeks ago, when I offered to have UPS come out and pick it up he says "Well, it's all out of the box and not ready anyway".

Then "Since my car is not done, I have no transportation, I won't be returning them until my car is running."

6 weeks is more than long enough to wait. I can't wait months until his car is running. Rudely hang up on me and you make me angry. If I have to drive 1 hour each way to pick these items up, I am not going to be in a good mood.

i did not get owned i still think all was handled poorly yestarday and i still believe i was in the right but i call today after a night of sleep and sorted all this out. i like anyone would got mad when my honesty is questioned especially since someone in the shop i am diong my spap in wanted to buy the other ic and i refused. i was not a ware that ups could come to my house. aparently neither of us were in a good mood yesterday and i am just glad that boath of us were mature enough to admit it i actully figured jeff was a member since yury from wiring speciaties is i had no problem showing 2 sides to a arguemen because thats how people grow

I didn't expect him to be a member too, I just email the address at their address with the link to this thread. Looks like jeff has evidence to shatter the deceit in this little story. 6 weeks vs 2 weeks is REALLY off and change the story altogether.

silvia-junkie, I see your lips move and hands wave hysterically but all I can hear is "wah wah wah"

I knew there had to be a catch to this story somewhere. Jeff, Jess, and everyone else at heavythrottle are all easy going. Theyve been very patient with me in answering all my questions and have been more than willing to give me tech advice.

I'm a UPS driver.

All Silvia-junkie had to do was refuse the extra intercooler the day it arriaved. Just say, "This isn't supposed to be here. Send it back."

Done.

Or, don't open the box and apply a call tag to the box and have UPS pick it up.

The fact that the extra intercooler was opened is just shady.

The issue has been resolved, so I'm gonna lock this down before a flame war gets into full tilt.
