I donno if any of you remember I ordered suspension for my car (KYB AGX and Eibach Pro-Kits) from Heavy Throttle early last week, and I was really happy because they gave me a good price and were real cool about everything.

Welllll.......

Everything since then has been straight downhill. When I ordered the parts, Jeff told me that they would go out the next day, and I would have them by the end of the week. I think cool, I'll call back tomorrow and get my tracking number. I call back the next day and Jeff tells me he didnt realise my parts were out of stock, so he says I'll have to wait till thursday before they're even sent out. Fine. I got a good price, why not let it go?

So I wait out the whole week, and on the following Monday I call again, and he tells me again that he cant ship out because KYB only sent him front shocks instead of rears. It is now going to be another week and a half before he even gets the parts in stock. At this point I just say forget about it. I'm going back to school in a week and I wont have time to install them, so I just told Jeff to cancel the order and better luck next time. This was an annoyance, but I guess understandable since he's not in controll of KYB's mistakes...

NOW, on Friday, 5 days after calling to cancel my order, I look at my bank statement and I dont have my money back! I never got reimbursed for the $600 HT took the DAY I ORDERED (like a week and a few days ago now, even though they didnt have the parts in stock). I call them up and guess what, Jeff is on vacation till tuesday, and on top of that they dont even know if my order got cancelled or not. The girl who answered the phone was like "uhh I'm not sure if your order has shipped out or not yet." Great. So NOW that I want to cancel the order they send them out.

This is becoming a huge pain in the a$$. I need this money for school books and other things, and now I'm going to have to deal with the hassle of sending BACK the 50lbs of suspension that I didnt even want shipped to my house. Nevermind waiting to get my money back.. arrrugh.

To be fair I know it's only been a few days, but HT should have definetly told me if their product wasn't in stock, and they certanly should have gave me my money back when I cancelled... annnd even if they didnt do all of that, they should have at LEAST cancelled my order when I asked it to be. The girl on the phone was very nice and apologetic, but still I cant help bein a little peeved about all of this.

Time for a charge back man.

Heavy Throttle also messed up my friend's SR harness but that's another story.

Watch out what you say about sponsors or you're likely to get in trouble. :rolleyes :icon18 good luck getting your stuff straight on a timely basis. Don't people AT LEAST keep a paper record on which orders have gone out and which havent?

You'd think so, but the girl just didnt know if it had or not. She said it might have been "cross ordered" from another company or something, and she had no way of tracking that. I guess I'll find out when a package arrives at my door....

Yea, I've never had luck with Heavythrottle. I could have told you that. The only thing I ever ended up purchasing from them were some brake pads. And those took 3 weeks to get to me. Everything else with them I cancelled.:rolleyes

For motors, they come in good shape, but its a timely affair. Atleast thats how it was with mine. All other parts are almost always out of stock it seams. Even when i asked upon ordering it was always instock, untill i was charged, then a few days later it wasn't in stock anymore

Fiznat, I think you should refuse any package that might arrive, and file a claim with your credit card company. Basically send a letter to the address on the back of your statement that says what you typed up here (plus format and some PC editing). You probably have 60 days to file a claim and you do not have to pay any part of the balance you're disputing while the claim is being investigated.

I have had nothing but good experience with HT, but everyone has a bad day. This will probable make you not do business with them again. I have done this with a few other companies. If you still want the agx's I would suggest coximport.com, and look around for some TEIN stech.

Good luck,

lok
