heavy for a 17in rim??

sup guys,ok since my rims are sitting in the garage due to winter season, i went out today and put them on the sale. It came up to about 37lbs (17x7 rim w/ 205/40 tires.) Now how is that wieght on average, heavy, light or what?? Also does any one know how much the stock black 15inch steelies w/ 195/60 tires weigh from the s13.

thats not too bad, id say about average for 17's... my 18's are about 7 lbs heavier

Edit: Ill be out changing breakpads today so ill weigh the stock steelies if i get a chance...

the stock rims + 195 tires weigh 40 lbs, i just weighed them

hehehe. mine weigh about 22lbs, totall. wheel and tires....love kevlar carcassed tires..love light wheels. w00t.

it was with a spring scale, on day i'll put it on the digital one and give you a more exact weight.
