A/C 3.5, Premium package.....

When I set auto climate control to heat, 75-90 degrees, when the car warms up, both the auto light and air conditioner light come on together.

I have no problem touching the A/C button to turn it off, but why does it come on? Is this normal and should I turn it off? Dealer has no clue.

Thanks anyone.

I believe that's how it's supposed to be. The AC light just indicates that the air is being conditioned, and in this case, you're heating it up rather than cooling it down.

Thats completely normal. When set to "Auto", the system will do its best to acclimate the temperature using heat and A/C. The A/C of course enabling the cooling off of the cabin in case it gets too warm.

Yah....I usually just shut off the AC button when I hit the Auto.

I turn it off too, but it really doesn't make difference if you are heating (iv'e tested on and off in the cold weather)...hell m car still heats when set to 63...I really like the auto feature on our HEATING system, I really haven't tried AC yet except for the initial buy....I hop its good!
