I compare with my all other cars I own or owned
just drove all day the buick encore 16 and after a while i had to put the temp on 70 because to hot in the car
not the rogue case....here is freezing . with the same temp settings
The air from the vents will not necessaily be the temperature you have selected. The automatic climate control will mix the air to get the vehicle to the desired temperature. Sometimes it will blow hotter, and often much colder air in the warm weather, to get to the set tempreature. You need to put a simple thermometer in the car and see what reading it gets relative to what you have set.
If it is not even close then there is an issue and you can demonstrate it to the dealership using this simple method. There are any number of possible issues that could cause this. The ambient temperature sensor, blend doors, heater core and even the sunlight detector on the dash or rearview mirror. All those play a role in the system and how it attempts to get the car to the temperature you have selected.
Good luck with getting it resolved.
