I think this is the problem I'm having as well. I bought the resistor for around $30 but I haven't taken out the dash yet to get to it. It seems it's behind the heater core next to the firewall and to get to it is a *****.

Good luck finding more info, I'm a pretty decent "searcher" and I couldn't find anything really.

Here's hoping we both get heat soon, it's freaking cold outside.

U shouldnt have to take the dash out to get to it. Just lay inder the passanger dash and change the thing.

Check you resistor or behind the climate control system is a 30A relay that goes to the fan. Check that one two.

I wish, I tried it and the AC was in the way down there. I'd rather take out the dash than disconnect the AC lines and all that.

seriously, it takes all of 3 minutes to change it out by just lying in the passenger foot well. nothing is in the way and it's held in by a couple of phillips head screws. stick your head under there and look for a brown, rectangular plug. that's your resistor. unclip the plug, undo the screws (i'm pretty sure there are only three, 2 in front, one in back), pull the old one out and replace it. if you have to take your dash off, you're changing the wrong part.

Indeed and I know that too, because I bought an aftermarket one the first time and it lasted about a week, so I was right back on my back on the floorpan putting the nissan one in.

Nissan part #'SS13: 27150-40F00S14: 27150-41B00

Either one of them costs $34 and u can order them from your local Nissan dealer.
