Heating/Air Conditioning Not Working, why?

On my heating and air conditioning unit, level 1 doesn't work. But if I go to any other level, they all work. What could be the problem?

You need to replace the inhibiter switch under the dash that changes the speeds on your blower adjustment.

Is that easy to do myself? If so, what are the steps. If not, what would that cost to have it replaced? Thanks in advance

to make sure i understand right you a/c blows cold but just wont work on all speeds? if this is so you need to replace the switch on the blower motor under your clove box.

That is correct, both heating and cooling work GREAT, it's just that the first speed does not work and all others do.

replace the inhibbiter switch on the blower motor. it's behind the glove box. on the motor. 30bucks to buy 60 to install.
