i got a 1992 240 sx and my heater will not work in my car need help and tips

what does it do? does the blower work does thw ac work?start by checking all your fuses...let me know what happens

yea the ac works but when i put the heat on it blows cold air

in that case check in your engine bay there should be 2 coolant hoses about 1.5" wide realy close together going into your firewall by the passanger side i belive might be drivers. I dont have my 92 any more so Im not sure (they go to your heater core). If you only see 2 pipes sticking out someone bypassed them. If thats the case the core proabably used to leak and will have to be replaced(thats a beatch the dashboard has to come out) If not its proabably your heater core valve. Also when you switch to heat soes it make any type of noise or does the lever move nice and easy? If it moves nice and easy thats where your problem is.. It shoul snap or pop because that lever literally opens a door that lets the hoy air into your car... Theres two things you can start on let me know how it goes..
