I had the same problem as everyone else on here with the heat not working. Even when i turned the temp all the way to 85 degrees nothing it just blew cold air. One of the techs on here said to check the Air Mix door for broken posts. Sure enough i ripped out the radio/air conditioning controls got back there and found out the post that operates the air mix door was hanging. It was dangling by a spring. It apparantly snaped of the air mix door post. There is a metal piece that stick out (looks like a half circle and a plastic piece that slids over it. Well long story short that plastic piece snapped off and that is what moves the mix door open and close almost like a flap. Same of course is the flapping sound you hear when the heater kicks on as you turn the temp up. The problem i have now is the rest of the broken plastic is molded around the metal and i cannot get that dam plastic off. I might try a souldering iron or something i need that metal piece clean so when i ty to install the new piece it slides on easy and smooth. I probley will put some glue on it aswell before i slide it on. QUESTION is has any one had this problem and how did you clean that plastic off???
