Have you looked through the factory service manuals? I think there is a troubleshooting section for the climate control system in there.

Is there only one blower fan? Does it work for AC or any other temps? Have you checked your fuses?

I haven't had to do much on this part of my car so thats all i can suggest for now.

fan amp is probably blown. Common problem on these trucks. has been discussed many times on here.
It's an easy and cheap fix.
It's located behind the glove box under the dash.
Dealer part is inexpensive.

I have an LE with the auto climate control and my fan just stopped working -- the display continued to work normally. Your post is a bit confusing -- are you saying your control/display is not working correctly?

The resister pac is different for the manual system.

I have had three pathfinders with the auto system and they have all needed to have the resister pac replaced -- it's a very easy fix. Part is around $100.00
