On a more serious note, sounds like you didn't get your testing right. It's not actually possible to have power at the blower motor connector if the relay isn't in the car, as far as I know. On top of that, if you actually *did* have power at the connector, and your blower motor was good, it would have been on until you unplugged it. That still leaves a problem with the blower motor itself first.
You may want to buy yourself a DVOM instead of using a test light, too. It's a lot safer on the electronics.
