There are maybe a few people who have experienced any problem with heater but because of very cold weather in Canada, this is the second winter that I see that in very cold weather the heater doesn't warm up the car at all, even after a long engine run. Especially in compare of my Camry 2007 which in a very cold weather warms up the car very well and quick. I complained to dealer last winter and they told me to bring it in very cold weather to test it.

The second problem that I experienced is about windshield washer. The nozzles are not very efficient and can't splash enough water on windshield to help wipers.

I think he talk about the block heater, not the heated seats.

I agree, the engine takes a LONG time to warm up in -30 weather which isn't that surprising, but the heater definately doesn't throw nearly as much heat as any other car I've ever owned or ridden in. I can live with it, but I agree it's not that great but the point is that it must be product constraint and I don't think there's a problem, the Rogue heater is just weak.

Yep, the heater is not the greatest when it gets really cold. My dad's 2006 Corolla, has a much better heater. The engine warms up fast, but the heater does not.Paul

One thing with the heater, if you crank the heat knob all the way over to red and don;t turn the fan all the way up, put it at about 2 - 3:00 position, you get better heat. I found if I turn the fan up to far, the Delta T of the core is lower. I have no heat issues in my Rogue but then the coldest it has been here so far is plus 11 degrees F. or minus 12 C. Im driving to Barrie ON next week from Connecticut. If my feet freeze, Ill have to flip the Nissan headquarters the bird on my way by on the 401.

We have talked about it last year and one of the member here found that the venting is the problem, not really the heat generated by the engine.

The heat is lost under the dashboard as it is not well directed to the foot well. You will have to move them around a bit and change their directions in order to improve the efficiency.

Chas1: Thanks for the advice, I will try next time I need a lot of hot air.

Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a try and let you know.
