heater hose question

im a newbie on this site and im not too mechanically inclined yet, but i saved up some cash wanted to learn so i got an s13 and a red top. im redoing the heater hoses right now and i need to know if i can put either hose on either connection at the firewall or if matters which goes where

It's easiest to connect the hose coming from the intake mani to the lower firewall connection and the hose that goes behind the head to the upper firewall connection

thanx man. That's good because that's the way I was going to do it I just didn't know if it mattered and I didn't want any flow going *** backwards
