hey guys my friends sr20 heater hoses are leaking behind the engine and they seem impossible to reach! How do we do this?we dont really have to pull the engine for this do we? has anyone does this with the engine in the car? Any tips or suggestions would be awesome!please reply asap!

This really sucks and there is no good way to do it.
The only thing that stinks worse is the coolant return line for the turbo on S13 SR.

Pulling the motor is the easiest way. Just loosen the motor mounts (not all the way) and just pick the motor up and go from there.

I know it seems a lot to do, but you can remove all three mounts and cherry-pick motor a couple of inches, and pull motor forward. That will allow you to reach behind. You'll need to place something underneath the transmission for support. And obviously, you'll need to remove drive shaft. my 2 cents.
