devon's63,

Got a pic or two of what you are looking for as I might be able to help with an alternate solution, ie something British? Are you talking the elbow off of the heater core or the elbow off of the block? Or the big rubber vent hose from the heater box to the vent? I have both heaters out for the '63 (ugh...) and '64 (ready for install).
Do you know if any heater parts from the 510 will work? I have an extra one or two.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Good Luck. I have three for six little truckies. One that's smashed, brittle, and held together with packaging tape (somewhere smashed again). One that's just brittle (hanging in the garage). And one that is good enough to send off and reproduce (with the china and crystal).

I checked with Hanna Rubber here in KCKS and to have this reproduced is about $2500 for 100, if they will go this low for a minimum order (I can and will check again for us). Turn around time is 4-6 weeks and they will be made in China. Okay, not bad. $25 a piece and I recoup my money (only). Biggest issue is can I sell 100? Probably not. I can live with loosing a little money, but not the wife constantly reminding me how many more I need to sell on eBay or through NiCo.

If you would like we can conduct a survey for a week or two and see what feed back we get. I can take a nice pic and post it along with the survey. I'm not looking for any deposits or exchanging any dead presidents. Simply a number interested; those who actually click yes and simply those who just "view".

Let me know what you think and give me a few and I'll post a pic.

If you can't find a rubber vent hose that goes from the heater to the vent, I had the same issue a number of years ago. Bought a block of styrofoam measured the distance from heater to vent, cut the block to fit into the space. Then marked the top of the block to match the vent intake. The bottom of the block to match the heater exit. Shaped the block with rasps and sandpaper to mirror the original rubber vent. Now had a mold. Went to a hobby shop ( real one where model airplane kits are sold), bought light weight fiberglass cloth and resin. Draped the glass cloth over the mold and applied the resin. Three layers of glass cloth and resin. Now had a fiberglass part. Dug out most of the styrofoam then used gasoline to dissolve the remaining foam. Sounds hard to do but it isn't. Works like a charm and looks good too.

Thanks for that Gemmer. I'm looking at making a mold and using a silicon type rubber or what Hanna Rubber told me to use...need to find the piece of paper with the three different types of rubber material.

Here's the OE -

I sewed one together using 1/8" thick neoprene fabric. I had a shrunken old one that sort of worked as a pattern after I cut it into pieces. Cut on both sides with the bend of the elbow in the middle of that bend. Then allow a 1/2" edge margin on all sides for sewing. Adjust length as necessary by trimming.

If you don't have a pattern you'll need to make up some sort of wire frame then figure out how to drape it.
