the most effective way to remove air from the cooling system is to drain and refill the cooling system. after you drain the coolant from the vehicle, there is a bleeder bolt that i believe is on the right hand side of the motor, near the thermostat housing i believe (i am having a brain fart right now for some reason) you remove that bolt and continue to fill the radiator with antifreeze until it steadily flows out of the hole where that bolt was, then put that bolt back in and top of the rest of the antifreeze. that bolt is "technically" supposed to be the highest point in the cooling system, thus filling the rest of the system will push any air out of the system, in theory. i can post more detailed instructions when i get to work tomorrow if that'll be more helpful.
