I'm not usually a do it yourselfer, but...
I'm driving a '95 Maxima.
The heater fan doesn't work often. Other times it does. Today in the morning it did not work and it was minus 27 degrees celcius (really cold). On the way home from work after sitting out in a field all day at minus 25, it did work.
Some days it makes horrible high pitched whining noises or clicks.j
My guess is that I should replace the fan motor. Is this a difficult, painstaking process or is it not too bad? I don't want to pay $300 to have this done.
