Heater fan speed control only works in the high speed

The fan control on my 2004 Altima seems to only work in the high position. Can someone share insight on what needs to be replaced/fixed here? Is this a common DIY job?

(Apologies if this has been asked many times...I tried searching but no good hits)

It's the heater fan resistor. This happens on a lot of cars. It's not super cheap. You can DIY but I would suggest taking it somewhere incase it's not that... Unsure of a part number, just haven seen this issue before on other cars.
