heater core???

well here is the problem i got another leak to fix! any way its a 95 240 auto leaking coolant. i have found where the leak is coming from i think it is coming from heater core but I always thought that the floor board would get wet if that was the case. there is a small spout below the hoses that go into the dash that I believe it is coming from. Im not too familiar heater cores so I was just wondering if i am in the ball park? thanks

If your floorboard has coolant on it, your heater core has definitely sprung a leak. I think on a s14 you have to take apart the dash to get at it.. Not the funnest job imo. Good luck

Sounds like a heater core, it must just not be leaking out of the casing/ducting that holds the heater core and is running out the drain tube you describe. I don't know if the S13 and S14 heater cores are the same, if they are I have a few extras. Email at [email protected] I could take a picture of one if need be.
