I just finished installing new radiator/thermo/waterpump/fans.I also re routed my heater core hoses.

Everything works except my heat. I was VERY careful when re-doing the hoses to not get them confused.

can anyone confirm for me which hose goes where?

and if i have that right can someone explain the process of bleeding the heater core?

The one on the back of the engine goes to the top one on the firewall. I have heard the heat does not work correctly the other way around, but I have not personally verified that.

Thanks Jeff,

I browsed to 2 other images not linked to from your FAQ page. I think i had them reversed so I switched it all around. I'll give it a test in the AM.

how hard is it to get the heater hoses out from behind the engine once it's in already?

The shop that I did my swap at, just recerculated the pipes within the engine and so they left the heater core completely disconected...

I need to get my heater working... how hard would it be??

sorry to hi-jack the thread btw

i'm sorry to tell you that it really depends.. I've never messed with an S14 but i had a good inch++ to work with and i have small hands.

It involved ALOT of crushing my hands into tight places and swearing but i got it done, so it IS possible.
