heater blower

2007 Nissan Tiidi (NZ) same as versa, heater blower motor stopped working, all fuses (amps) are good, motor removed and tested on 12v and works perfectly , could it be the resistor? blower doesn't work at all in car, but perfectly on a 12 v system after removed. Help please,

Yes, a resistor can generally do it and even more if not all the speeds are dead only some of them. On some cars the switch on panel can go bad as well.

thanks, none of the speeds work at all, its an electronic switch not a dial, so I hope its not that, will replace the resistor first, fingers crossed. Thanks again
