Hi, my daughter has a 2002 Infiniti QX4. A couple of days ago the cabin fan started acting up.It runs continuously on high, irregardless of the control settings. The up-down arrow buttons for fan control show slower fan settings on the display, but the fan runs on high from the moment the key is turned on.

I searched and found:zerothread?id=149467http://forums.nicoc ... ngton.html

Would her vehicle use the same components, in similiar locations?Do the symptoms match? I'm not clear on whether the fan control amplifier failure results in what she has, fan always on, always on high, or whether it results in fan on high, or off.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I would think there's a similar part... might be worth calling Joe at 1-888-216-5328. It's also worth the time to figure out what may have caused the failure. Usually it's poor air flow - maybe from a clogged in-cabin filter in your case?

Might also be defective front seats... you should buy the set I have for sale

Heath you raskal, trying to sell your stuff on the forum. Do you have any old Z parts still laying around from your dad's car??? I just bought a 1970 240Z, and need numerous things. Did you get paid for those original hubcaps you put on EBay???? Doug

Nah, I don't think it's the seats, they seem to work okay...

Thanks for the help guys!

PS: Maybe I should buy those seats for my Jeep CJ7, the mud should wipe off easy...

The hubcaps were pretty much all I had. The guy who bought the hubcaps sent his son from NC to pick them up and pay cash... I don't think he wanted to take any chances!
