Guys, I had my remote start installed some time last year and ever since, my heated steering wheel stopped working. I remember reading up that there is a fuse that might have been blown, but I can't find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The fuse for the heated steering is #13 on your fuse block.

Man, that didn't work

Thanks for the help though. The fuse looks brand new, but I still swapped it out. I still can't get the heated steering wheel to work, anyone have any other ideas? All the other electrical items, including the heated seat, work perfect.

I was researching this last winter, and had noted some other forum boards with how to's and other user's with the same issues, but this time around, I can't seem to find them. I've searched through here, but don't see too many posts involving faulty heated steering wheels. Any help would be appreciated.

So I called up the Infiniti dealership and was told that the car WAS under a four year 60,000 mile warranty, but since i'm at 66,000 miles, I'm sol!

Has ayone else heard of this? Please let me know what else I can try

If yo uhave checked the fuse then two things it could be. The element has gone bad which unfortunately can happen (have to get a new steering wheel with element and take airbag out and all kinds of fun stuff), loose wire/short.... Im trying to remember but i think there is supposed to be a light on the switch for the heated steering. Does that come on. Also there have been problems with the wiring in the steering column to the element in the steering wheel. May want to check all the wiring going from source to switch to element.
