Heated seats question.

I have a 98 QX4. It has power seats up front. From observing the BB hear it sounds like if you put in the heated seat button down next to the rear window defroster the seats will heat. Are the seats prewired fromt he factory for heat ? If so, this will be a sweet mod !!!

If your QX4 did not come with heated seats from the factory, the wiring is most likely present but the seat heater elements and the heater switches are not present. You'll need to obtain them from a junkyard vehicle. I'm not sure if the heated type seats are any different from normal seats, though.
