Hey Everyone! My 2013 QX56 drivers heated/cooled seat isn't working. The passenger side is ok. When I turn the drivers seat on the light will come on and stay lit for about 10 seconds, then go off. It doesn't matter whether I turn the switch to cool, or warm. Anyone have this issue? Any known reason and fix for this problem? I'd appreciate any help! Thanks in advance...

The most common problem with the Peltier units in N/I climate seats is the ground terminal to the controller going bad and melting. The controller is under the seat, there should be a white and a black connector. The black one is main power, take it loose and inspect the terminals and housing for blackening or melting (sometimes they melt so badly that the connector housing becomes fused to the controller). Nissan does make a service pigtail for the connectors if yours is damaged, but the controller will also need replacement. Nothing wrong with a JY unit and pigtail if there are no signs of blackening.

PS - There are bulletins for this on a bunch of different N/I models. The one below is for the R52 Pathy, but your system and connector should be similar.
